The victim, named as Tamby Dowling, was tragically found with stab wounds on Watermill Avenue, in Chadderton, at around 7pm on Monday night.
A murder investigation was launched after she sadly died at the scene. A 16-year-old girl also suffered superficial injuries in the incident and was taken to hospital, police said.
