TikTok star Leonardo Gil killed in hit and run on his way home from hospital job
dailystar.co.ukTikTok star and hospital technician has died following a hit and run.Leonardo Gil was riding his motorcyle home after a shift at a hospital in Florida on Tuesday evening when he was hit by an SUV at about 9:30pm.The car was taking a left turn at the intersection of East 8th Avenue and 21st Street in Hialeah near the hospital, according to a GoFundMe set up to cover funeral and memorial costs.Gil’s aunt spoke to 7News Miami and said that her nephew was left lying on the ground until a passerby found him and called the emergency services.He was then taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.Gil was well known on TikTok with over 196,000 followers and often posted videos about his job at the hospital.The family fundraiser spoke to the news, saying they were “not prepared for the loss of this loving, kind, selfless young man.’‘He leaves behind a big, loving, united family, including his young son,’ they shared.The GoFundMe page set up to raise money for his funeral has now reached over $45,000 (£33,568) and comments of grief are all over his TikTok.One follower commented “Rest in peace.
