Joseph Allen Maldonado-Passage (born March 5, 1963), better known by his stage name Joe Exotic, is an American former zoo operator, internet personality, musician, and convicted felon. The former owner and operator of the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park (a.k.a. G. W. Zoo) in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, Maldonado-Passage had claimed to be the most prolific breeder of tigers in the United States. He twice unsuccessfully ran for public office, first for President of the United States in 2016 as an independent, and then for Governor of Oklahoma in 2018 as a Libertarian.

TIGER King’s Dillon Passage has revealed he's heartbroken after reading a pleading letter from banged-up hubbie Joe Exotic. His imprisoned partner penned a letter claiming that he'll 'be dead' in jail in just a few months.

The TV star wrote in the distressing note, obtained by TMZ, that his ‘soul is dead’ and he ‘struggles everyday’. He also seemed concerned and unsure whether he was still married to partner Dillon, who he accused of being too busy ‘making money and being famous’.

The Tiger King star wrote: "I struggle every day to hold onto what little hope I can find... I don't even know if I'm married any more.
