Joseph Allen Maldonado-Passage (born March 5, 1963), better known by his stage name Joe Exotic, is an American former zoo operator, internet personality, musician, and convicted felon. The former owner and operator of the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park (a.k.a. G. W. Zoo) in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, Maldonado-Passage had claimed to be the most prolific breeder of tigers in the United States. He twice unsuccessfully ran for public office, first for President of the United States in 2016 as an independent, and then for Governor of Oklahoma in 2018 as a Libertarian.

Tiger King 's Dillon Passage said he is 'outraged' at how his husband Joe Exotic is being treated after reading his 'heartbreaking' letter.

The Netflix star took to social media to express his concern after Joe - who is serving a 22-year jail sentence - chillingly predicted he would be 'dead within months'.

In a letter recently obtained by TMZ, the Tiger King star said that his "soul is dead" and that he was struggling in prison.

According to TMZ, the Tiger King also questioned whether he was 'still married' and hadn't heard from Dillon, 22, as everyone "is so busy making money and being famous".
