Wood, of Rowena Street, Farnworth, had been drinking with the woman and she fell asleep on the sofa, prosecution counsel Stacey Morrow told Bolton Magistrates’ Court. During the argument with the woman’s son, Wood said he was going to ‘stab him up’ and threatened to kill him, the court heard.
Wood then pushed past the woman and headed upstairs to her daughter, before pulling the girl's hair. The woman’s son then jumped out of a bedroom window to get help and a neighbour came to the house.
