The ride at Drayton Manor Resort in Staffordshire named 'Loki' will not be in operation due to birds making themselves at home on the ride, reports StaffordshireLiveThe impromptu home for the feathered friends is limiting access to a main mechanical area, according to park officials.

Drayton Manor, a popular visitor attraction near Tamworth, had announced details on a new Viking area described as a "whole new land of discovery" back in March, with the original opening date of Sunday, May 29 set to coincide with the May half-term holidays.But the unwelcome find appears to have set back the centrepiece of the launch at a crucial time, with the rest of the area set to open as normal.A spokesperson for Drayton Manor told StaffordshireLive: "The Vikings area as a whole will be open to the public from Sunday, but Loki will remain out of operation.
