Three local charities have been highly praised and nominated for honours in this year’s Scottish Charity Awards.Chris’s House, a Wishaw mental health charity, The Miracle Foundation, which helps children cope with grief, and youth harm reducation organisation LANDED were all put forward for recognition by Motherwell and Wishaw MP Marion Fellows.MPs were given the opportunity to nominate charities for different categories and, after asked on social media which charities deserved to be recognised, Mrs Fellows reviewed all suggestions and chose these good causes.MP Fellows said: “We are extremely lucky in Motherwell and Wishaw to have so many extraordinary charities who work hard serving our communities.
