Horrifyingly, it's believed the bag got stuck when someone tried to hurl it into the nearby river to drown the dogs. Staff at Smyth's Veterinary Services were called to the scene at about 9pm on July 8, after someone called to report what they thought was abandoned kittens.The bag turned out to contain three newborn collies, thought to be no older than between seven and 10 days old.The puppies were rescued and treated for hypothermia, hypoglycaemia and hunger by the veterinary team.Luckily,.
