Fiorini, a 19-year-old midfielder that has worked his way through the age groups at the academy, spent last season on loan at NAC Breda where he impressed in a team that painfully missed out on promotion to the Dutch top flight courtesy of conceding an 89th-minute goal in the play-off final.
The Scotland youth international has signed a four-year extension that keeps him at the Etihad until 2026, although he has already headed to League One side Lincoln to spend next season there on loan.
