This Morning star Fern Britton opened up on her life being "still in chaos" following her marriage breakdown. Fern, 64, moved down to Cornwall after splitting from ITV chef Phil Vickery in 2020 after 20 years of marriage.The presenter decided to have a quieter life down in Cornwall, while her ex-husband decided to stay in their home in Buckinghamshire.Fern also opened up about her new life by the beach, admitting her new home needs some renovation to spruce it up.She added: "I’m enjoying the home-renovation process."It was very much a holiday home, so needed refining to actually live in."I went mad and had a new kitchen, and turned an absolute mess of a downstairs loo, full of boots and coats and sand, into a sleeker room with a washing machine."She also admitted her life is "in chaos" and when she had her belongings sent from her old home, it "blew her mind".Meanwhile, Fern was left very red-faced after getting spotted skinny dipping while taking a swim in the sea down in Cornwall.The star told Daily Mail that she had gone to find a quiet cove where she could swim in the nude, but it wasn't long before she was interrupted.Fern said: "I saw some people on the cliff and thought, 'Oh, b****r.'"The star's body has dramatically changed over the years, as she underwent a gastric band operation in 2008 and overhauled her diet and lifestyle in a bid to become healthier.Fern went on to lose a whopping five stone and later told Daily Mail: "It's something I did for myself."My cholesterol was high.

My knee joints were starting to hurt. I wasn't able to run. I was approaching 50 and I thought, 'Do you know what? I'm going to be different when I'm 50'."For me it's worked.
