This Morning fans have called out ITV over claims "Bolton is the new Hollywood" segment which was shown on Friday's episode (April 1).

Even TV host Josie Gibson, 37, seemed to be unsure about the statement as she asked whether she'd got the information right when reading it aloud on the programme.Suspicious fans said the communication was fake and nothing more than an April Fool's Day prank. One suspecting online user questioned: "This Morning 'All the money from filming in Bolton is being invested back in Bolton.'"Another asked: "Sorry what?

Please can someone show some evidence of this?"A third penned: "So wait, sorry - why're you talking about Hollywood when so far all you've said they film in Bolton is commercials and TV shows."A fourth commented: "These April Fool’s jokes are getting more ridiculous."While a fifth said: "This is April Fool's right?"This is a live TV story and is constantly being updated. Please refresh the page regularly to get the latest TV updates.TV & Showbiz reporters are working to source the latest information, reaction, pictures and video related to this story. You can also follow us on Twitter @DailyStar, or follow us on Instagram @dailystar to get the latest TV and celeb gossip 24 hours a day.Or like our Daily Star Showbiz Facebook page to get the day's biggest stories, and have your say on them. Why not also subscribe to receive our regular Daily Star showbiz newsletters? You can do this on this page by simply entering your email address above and hitting 'subscribe'.Download the Daily Star app for flash alerts on the biggest stories of the day, so you don't miss out.Why not also subscribe to receive our regular Daily Star news bulletins?
