His other work for ITV includes All Star Mr & Mrs (2008–2016), The Cube (2009–2015), and 5 Gold Rings (2017–present). Schofield gained national attention working for the BBC, first as a continuity presenter for Children's BBC on weekdays from 1985 to 1987, then as a presenter on the children's Saturday morning magazine show Going Live! between September 1987 and April 1993.

This Morning presenter Josie Gibson has exclusively revealed that she will be appearing on another TV show. The ITV favourite is back hosting This Morning alongside Vernon Kay whilst presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield take a break during the Easter holidays.

As the show began on Monday morning, Vernon Kay announced that his co-star had some exclusive news to share. It was then that Josie revealed that she has signed up for Cooking with the Stars, an ITV show hosted by Emma Willis and comedian Tom Allen.

The competitive cooking show ran its first series in July 2021 and saw eight celebrities each paired with a professional chef to take on a series of challenges. As the show has been renewed for a second season, Josie Gibson is one of the first celebrities to confirm she will be among the famous line-up. "I'm very excited that I'm going to be on Cooking with the Stars.

I cannot tell you how difficult it is, and I did not realise how bad my memory is," the presenter told Vernon, as she explained more about the show. "I've got to learn to cook all of these incredible dishes and I am with a bit of a legend actually, I'm paired with Tony Singh MBE." This Morning then shared an exclusive clip of Josie behind the scenes on the cooking show alongside the renowned professional chef. "I thought I knew how to cook but when I signed up to this show I realised I didn't, I wasn't very good at it," Josie laughed. "It's taken me by surprise and at the end of it you are exhausted.
