'The Undoing' Costume Designer Explains Meaning Behind Nicole Kidman's Coats on the Show

One of the most-talked about parts of Nicole Kidman‘s HBO series The Undoing was her wardrobe and all of the amazing coats she wore as Grace.

Ahead of the upcoming Emmys, the show’s costume designer Signe Sejlund spoke to Gold Derby about the process of creating the wardrobe for the show. “When I first read the script I knew Nicole was going to play the lead.

She’s so tall and so magically so that was a big first step. Very quickly we decided her hair should be big and red and curly.
