As we begin to get closer to Christmas, many people are starting to get into the festive spirit. However for some people, they're feeling festive all year round thanks to their names.
After it was recently revealed that Halloween-inspired monikers were rising in popularity, we can now reveal that Christmas-themed baby names are also more common than we tend to think.
For the boys, Jack comes out on top, while Ivy remains most popular for baby girls, as reported by the Liverpool ECHO. Jack means 'God is Gracious' and is also seen to refer to Jack Frost, while Ivy is a festive evergreen, which has historically been used during winter solstice celebrations to fend off evil spirits and celebrate new growth.
