The Crown bosses looking for perfect Kate Middleton lookalike for last series

The Crown bosses may be on the hunt to find their hunky princes but they're also on the lookout for a perfect princess to step into Kate Middleton's shoes.Cast members have already started filming series five of the global hit with Dominic West and Elizabeth Debicki stepping into the role of Prince Charles and Diana, Princess of Wales.During the course of the final series, viewers will see Elizabeth recreate Diana's infamous Martin Bashir interview, despite Prince William hitting out at the BBC for "lying" and using "fake documents" in order to gain access to the late Princess.He also claimed the interview contributed to the breakdown of Charles and Diana's marriage.As the drama based on the British Royal Family comes to a close, it's expected to cover the period from 1997 right through until the early Noughties.This will see Prince William meet his future Queen consort while the pair were studying at St Andrews University in Scotland.However, Catherine's role will be relatively small with bosses only wanting to feature her if they can cast an actress who can capture Kate's "English Rose look".An insider said: "Having the Duchess of Cambridge starring is an easy win for The Crown, as the creators know it will get more people watching."Particularly as it will show her relationship with William just as their romance starts to blossom when they were both students."But since she's not necessarily a crucial part of the storyline, Kate’s presence is essentially a bonus, they'll only cast someone if they can find the right candidate."In March, casting directors put out a national call to agencies for actors to step forward to play William between the ages of 16 to 21 and Harry between the ages of 16 to 20.They said they were.
