Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were not invited to Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz's star-studded wedding yesterday, according to reports.
Instead, proud parents David and Victoria are said to have invited Prince William and Kate Middleton to the £3m event in Palm Beach, Florida - but they politely declined the request.The Beckhams were reported to have agonised over which royal couple to choose because of the rift between William and Harry.
In the end they chose William and Kate. A source told The Sunday Mirror: "David and Victoria wrote to William and Kate inviting them and the family to their son’s wedding, and William replied wishing them a great deal of joy but they are unable to attend." The source continued: "David’s attachment and history go back with William and Kate and they have a very strong relationship and they were their choice of wedding guests. "They are the people David and Victoria are attached to and it’s always been about them because they’ve had a long history together." David described Prince Harry as "an amazing person" in February 2020 as he reflected on his friendship with the 37 year old royal. "We love him and he's an amazing person - and that's the most important thing - but I'm proud to see him growing up as an individual and being that person that every father wants to be," David told ET Online.
Brooklyn and Nicola said "I do" in front of a host of famous faces, including actress Eva Longoria, Spice Girls Mel B and Mel C, tennis legend Serena Williams and TV chef Gordon Ramsay.The lavish ceremony took place at the one of the billionaire bride’s family homes - a £76m mansion in Miami.
