Meghan Markle is said to be planning to join her husband Prince Harry at the Invictus Games in Holland. The couple's arrival in Europe will come as a huge surprise to many if it goes ahead, as the pair decided not to come back to the UK for Prince Philip's memorial service at Westminster Abbey this month.

But according to reports, both the Duke, 37, and Duchess of Sussex, 40, who were reportedly "not invited" to Brooklyn Beckham's wedding at the weekend, will be attending the opening ceremony in The Hague on Saturday, April 16.The games, which started off as Harry's passion project for wounded servicemen and women, has become one of the most praised and lauded sports competitions in the world.

The couple's appearance at the opening ceremony, which has been reported by The Sun, will mark their first time in Europe together since they stepped down from their roles as senior members of the royal family more than two years ago.

What's more, Meghan hasn't returned to the UK since she flew across the pond back in March 2020. Her departure followed the Commonwealth Day Ceremony with the rest of the Royal family, which in turn came after the Duke and Duchess had spent Christmas with son Archie, two, at a stunning cabin in Vancouver Canada.
