Netflix's 'The Crown' Puts Out a Casting Call for a Young Kate Middleton

The Crown is looking for their perfect Kate Middleton. Variety reports that the Netflix series has put out a casting call for “an exceptional young actor to play Kate Middleton.” Click inside to read more… The posting adds, “This is a good role in this award-winning drama and we are looking for a strong physical resemblance.” Also included were some photos of Kate in the early 2000s.

It gives fans some insight as to what may be in store for the upcoming season, which is slated to begin production this August in the U.K. Prince William began his undergraduate program at the University of St Andrew’s in Scotland in 2001, which is where he met Kate.

That same year, newspapers reported that Prince Harry was allegedly caught “regularly smoking cannabis and drinking alcohol,” at which point Prince Charles reportedly took him to a detox center for heroin users in order to scare him straight.
