Remember the Vivienne Westwood Rocking Horse platform shoes which rocked Naomi Campbell so violently she went splat on the catwalk in 1993?I saw a clip on YouTube in which a plainly still-PTSD’d Campbell, in conversation with la Westwood, tried to seek closure on the incident. ‘When I fell down,’ Campbell asked, ‘were you worried?’ Or words to that effect. ‘Well, you were all right, Naomi,’ responded the late dame blithely.
That’s probably debatable. Bad shoes can scar in so many ways. Avoid.It’s not as if there aren’t other options. Kitten heels, for instance.
