The Chase star Anne Hegerty has vowed never to quit her role on the popular ITV show. The 62-year-old television star - who has been a 'chaser' on the ITV quiz show since 2010 - admitted that she would only step down from her role as The Governess if she got fired or the show was cancelled.
Speaking to the Radio Times about her position on the show, Anne spoke fondly of her role. The television star, who also has autism, admitted that while getting ready for work can be 'stressful' she feels completely at home on the studio floor.
When asked whether she would ever consider stepping down, Anne reaffirmed that she wasn't going anywhere. “Not unless I get fired or they cancel it," she told the publication. "In a sense, it’s an easy job.
