THE CHASE fans were left open-mouthed as they watched Darragh Ennis get trounced in a humiliating triple defeat. Wednesday's edition of the ITV quizzing show saw the Irish scientist 'lose the plot' with a series of wrong answers.

The Chaser, dubbed Darragh 'The Menace' Ennis, was faced by Paul, Lynsey and Sarah in the shocking final chase. His lack of knowledge saw the trio leave with £11,000 after Darragh suffered multiple pushbacks.

The contestants had answered 16 correct questions in the allocated time. As Darragh prepared to take his turn, host Bradley Walsh commented: "It's been a winning score before - but it's low." There was shock all round as Darragh gave an incorrect answer for the second question and then it went downhill from.
