A dilapidated 150-year-old mansion has been named one of the most endangered buildings in the country by conservationists. Each year, the Victorian Society releases a list of the ten Victorian and Edwardian buildings most at risk of ruin in England and Wales.
The campaign aims to expose the plight of publicly nominated buildings in the hope that increased awareness and appreciation will help to save them.
Among this year's list is the historic Horncliffe Mansion in Edenfield, near Bury. READ MORE: Man found guilty of murdering Tameside teenager found dead in a car off M62 The landmark building was originally constructed by mill owner Henry Hardman in 1869, but has been empty since 2009.
