Tesco, Sainsbury's and Morrisons shoppers rage as snow sees deliveries cancelled

Tesco, Morrisons and Sainsbury's have all left customers in the lurch in recent days because of icy weather conditions preventing drivers from making deliveries.

Some areas of the UK are facing up to six inches of snow and the Met Office has issued yellow weather warnings for much of the country.

The snow has been heaviest in the Stoke and West Midlands areas.Brits who are shielding or self-isolating and can't go to the shops are fuming that they may have to go without essential items."Just had a call from @sainsburys to cancel our home delivery slot 2.5 hrs before it was due," one Twitter user said. "Rang them & they couldn't care less.
