These images show the terrifying arsenal of firearms stored at the home of a Scottish weapons expert who has been jailed for five years.
Simon Churchman was imprisoned after cops found the haul of weapons - including a rapid-fire sub-machine gun, a bolt-action rifle and a shotgun - at his cottage in Kidcudbrightshire.
Images released by prosecutors show the breadth of the equipment the 63-year-old had stashed at home.Among the weapons found was a Czech-made Sampoi sub-machine gun, complete with shoulder stock, which Churchman had reactivated to fire paintball rounds.Police also discovered a short barrelled Weihrauch airgun and a Walther CO2 air pistol almost impossible to distinguish from the real thing.The pictures released by the Crown
