A victim trafficked around the country by rape gangs today breaks her silence in a bid to help fellow survivors. Lauren Elysia Priddey, whose abuse hell began as she studied for her A-levels, says: “I don’t want to keep what happened to me a secret any more.” Her world descended into a pit of physical and mental despair after she was raped and terrorised by cousins Mohammed Ali Sultan and Shahmeel Khan in separate attacks days apart.
She was 18. Lauren went on to write a harrowing book, called No Way Out, detailing how she was trafficked and abused by dozens of other men – mainly in Telford and Birmingham – yet none of those were brought to justice.
