A teenager has been arrested after a man was stabbed in Prestwich. Several police and ambulance vehicles were scrambled to Kings Close just before 12.30pm on Saturday (October 23).
GMP said a 25-year-old man was stabbed by another man at the scene. He was taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening. An 18-year-old man has since been arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault. He remains in custody. Following the incident, neighbours reported seeing 'five police cars and a riot van' turn up on the quiet street.
