A manhunt is under way for a "man in his 40s" after a teenage girl was raped in a park in broad daylight. The girl had been walking through Houndwell Park in Southampton at 10am on Thursday November 12 when she was attacked by the man.
She reported the incident to police soon after. The park is described as "widely used" and also known as a "popular walk-through" for members of the public.
Officers are now asking anyone who might have been in the park around that time or anyone who say anything suspicious to come forward to help with the investigation.
