Teen in hospital seriously hurt after attack and robbery as police seal off area in Glasgow

Glasgow Royal Infirmary but is not thought to have life-threatening injuries. An area on St Mungo Avenue has been sealed off this afternoon as police remain at the scene.

A probe has been launched and anyone with information has been ured to come forward. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police were called to a report of assault and robbery of a 17-year-old male on St Mungo Avenue in Glasgow around 12.15pm on Sunday, 4 July, 2021. “The 17-year-old has been taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

Officers remain at the scene and enquiries are ongoing.“Anyone with information about the incident should call police via 101, quoting incident 1629 of 4 July.” Don't miss the latest news from around.
