Teen boy rushed to hospital with serious leg injuries after motorcycle crash in Glasgow

Glasgow. Emergency services raced to Dumbarton Road at its junction with Redgate Place after a collision happened at around 8.50pm on Friday.

The smash happened between a blue and white Suzuki motorcycle and a blue Audi A3 car. The 16-year-old rider of the motorcycle was taken by ambulance to The Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow where he remains for treatment for serious leg injuries.Medical staff describe his condition as stable.The driver of the Audi A3 was not injured.Sergeant Grant MacIver of the Glasgow Road Policing Unit is appealing for witnesses and is urging anyone who saw the crash to come forward.He said: "I would like anyone who witnessed the collision, who has not already spoken to police, to come forward."I am.
