vehicular homicide in a horrific incident that killed six people is said to have posted videos of himself asking people to guess how fast he was driving. The 17-year-old teenager, who was reportedly driving at 151mph, posted videos suggesting he would give $25 (£20) to anyone who could guess the speed of his vehicle.Noah Thomas Galle was slapped with six counts of vehicular homicide after slamming his 2019 BMW M5 into an SUV.A deputy who asked Galle on the way to the hospital how fast he had been driving says the teenager replied with "above 120".Investigators believe Galle, who suffered minor injuries, was under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs at the time of the crash in Delray Beach, Florida.
An unknown source allegedly tipped off police that Galle had "recorded himself driving at an extremely high rate of speed" two weeks earlier, sharing the footage on TikTok and Instagram.During a search warrant of his social media, police found an Instagram post from the teen boasting about driving 182mph down Interstate 95.In the comments section on the post, the teen reportedly wrote: "The first person to guess the MPH gets 25 cashapp".Galle's 2019 BMW M5 could be a competition model and therefore can reach speeds of up to 189mph, unlike the standard model which can rise to speeds of 155mph, The New York Post reported. The police report did not specify which model Galle, who has been released and placed on house arrest, was driving.
The January 27 crash killed driver Mirlaine Julceus, 44, Remize Michel, 52, Marie M. Louis, 45, Filaine Dieu, 45, and Vanice Percina, 28, while the name of the sixth passenger has not been released.Galle, who made his first appearance as an adult on Tuesday, is being held on a $300,000 (£230,000).
