Teddy Sheringham has made a surprising Jaap Stam admission when reminiscing over Manchester United's famous 1999 win over Bayern Munich in the Camp Nou.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's late goal and celebration has become the iconic moment of United's victory over the Germans, as the Norwegian sealed the comeback after Sheringham himself dragged United back into the game in the first minute of stoppage time following Mario Basler's free-kick inside 10 minutes.
Sheringham has now looked back on that famous night, and explained that going into the final there was a belief in the dressing room and a knowledge that each teammate would "fight" for each other.
