Original NOT BY ME!”More than 2,500 people liked the post, which showed two side-by-side snaps of the ink.On one, cursive lettering sat atop shaded black-and-grey clouds spelling the word “Virgina”.Now, it seems the lettering was supposed to say “Virginia” – presumably the client’s home state in the US.Unfortunately, the previous tattoo artist had missed out the second “I” meaning the inked customer was left with what looked closer to a rude word than a patriotic one.Thankfully, the tattoo artist – who uses the Instagram handle @uwutattoo – was able to use a clever piece of artistry to add in a second “I” without messing up the ink.He explained: “I mixed some colours ’til i was able to match his skin tone somewhat and pretty much used that as kind of a eraser over parts of the 'a' at the end I wanted to drown out.“And with black ink I shaped part of that 'a' into a 'i', added the dot on top and added the last ‘a’.”Want all the biggest Lifestyle news straight to your inbox?
