Suede have announced details of a 30th anniversary reissue of their seminal album ‘Dog Man Star’. Find out more below.Due out on October 4 via Demon Music, the project comes in celebration of the sophomore album turning 30 this year, and comes alongside reimagined artwork and bonus tracks from the era.Originally shared on October 10 1994, the LP marked the highly anticipated follow-up to Suede’s breakthrough, self-titled debut, and featured hits including ‘The Wild Ones’, ‘We Are The Pigs’, ‘Still Life’ and ‘Daddy’s Speeding’.To mark three decades since the original release, Suede will re-release the album as a new half-speed master edition which will be available in both 2LP and 3CD formats.For the latter, the first CD features the original album tracklist, while the second contains B-sides to all Dog Man Star-era single releases as well as the full-length version of the non-album single ‘Stay Together’.

Suede are set to share previously unreleased track ‘Blinded’ as part of their new ‘Sci-Fi Lullabies Vol.2’ collection for Record Store Day 2025.The forthcoming double LP serves as the follow-up to the band’s 1997 compilation ‘Sci-Fi Lullabies’, which features B-sides from the singles that were released from their first three albums.‘Vol.2’ was announced yesterday (February 6) as part of the extensive RSD ’25 list – also featuring exclusive vinyl drops from the likes of Oasis, Charli XCX, Fred Again.., The Cure, Gorillaz and Taylor Swift.These will be available when the annual event returns for its 18th edition on Saturday April 12.Announcing the forthcoming ‘Sci-Fi Lullabies’ follow-up on social media, Suede wrote: “This new collection of 19 B-sides and bonus tracks from the period 1997 to 2023 has been curated by Brett Anderson and includes the previously unreleased track, ‘Blinded’.“This double LP will be available on clear vinyl. Suede‘s Brett Anderson has released a cover of the Echo & the Bunnymen’s classic ‘The Killing Moon’ as part of a new project.Anderson has worked with Paraorchestra and their founder and artistic director Charles Hazlewood on ‘The Death Songbook’, a collaborative 12-track album featuring original compositions and “re-imagining iconic songs exploring love, loss and transcendence” by artists including Depeche Mode, Suede and Japan. Two people died as a result of the incident, with a third being left in a critical condition in hospital.Expressing their “regret” and “sincere apologies”, Suede confirmed in a Twitter thread today (July 4) that they will instead play three consecutive gigs at the nearby Electric Brixton venue.It is with regret that we have to inform you that the Suede shows at O2 Academy Brixton on Friday 15th and Saturday 16th December are cancelled.
