Phish just announced they’re heading to Seattle, Portland, San Francisco and Los Angeles for a brief eight-concert tour this April.The Portland show will be the band’s first in the city in 25 years, according to their Instagram. They’ll also donate $300,000 “to support relief and rebuilding efforts for communities affected by the devastating Southern California wildfires through the band’s non-profit The WaterWheel Foundation.”As of now, Phish doesn’t have any other dates announced for this year but that tracks with the group’s history.

Trey Anastasio is leaving his band(s) behind.For the first time since 2019, the Phish and Trey Anastasio Band frontman is embarking on an extended solo acoustic tour.From March through April 2025, the jam band icon’s ‘An Evening with Trey Anastasio Tour’ will stop into 20 symphony halls, music centers, auditoriums and theaters all over North America.That includes shows at Rochester, NY’s Eastman Theatre on Wednesday, March 12 and Red Bank, NJ’s Count Basie Center on Saturday, April 5, which closes the nationwide run.In 2019, Anastasio closed his solo acoustic trek with a pair of gigs — where he performed quite a few Phish songs — at Carnegie Hall. Phish‘s Trey Anastasio has opened an addiction recovery center, it has been revealed.Speaking to People magazine, Anastasio revealed that late last year, he co-founded and opened up the Divided Sky residential recovery center in Ludlow, Vermont. Phish fan who took a bong hit in the Sphere was temporarily banned from MSG venues.An account known as @acid_farts initially posted a video of the bong rip on April 20 to celebrate attending Phish’s Sphere show, who played four nights at the megavenue.However, it appeared as though MSG Entertainment (who own the venue) were not pleased with the stunt. A separate fan account on X/Twitter known as @PhishatMSG posted on June 3 to show a letter apparently addressed to the bong-ripper in question, informing him that he was “indefinitely banned” from MSG venues, which include the legendary Madison Square Garden and Radio City Music Hall amongst others.“If you enter any of the MSG Venues, including, with respect to Madison Square Garden, the box office, Chase Square and the concierge areas, law enforcement will be contacted to ensure your expulsion and you will be subject to the penalties,” the letter concluded.The man, who declined to share his real name in an interview with Rolling Stone, said he had “no regrets”, except for one: “I’ll never see the Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall”.Two days after the Rolling Stone article was published on June 6, MSG Entertainment then shared a statement claiming he was “not banned”, saying: “There was a breakdown in our process due to a change in personnel which resulted in the letter being sent inadvertently.
