My Morning Jacket is about to make a racket.Starting April 1, Jim James’ artsy jam band kick off an 18-show run — that they’ve dubbed the ‘My Morning Jacket is On Tour’ tour — in support of their forthcoming tenth studio album “Is.”They’ll be joined by special guests Bendigo Fletcher, Grace Cummings, Lacey Guthrie, Future Killer and The Jesse Lee’s on select dates at theaters, amphitheaters, music halls and pavilions all over the country.As of now, the “Wordless Chorus” group doesn’t have any New York or New Jersey concerts lined up for the spring outing. Dead and Company’s long farewell is officially underway.After their 2023 ‘Final Tour,’ Bob Weir and John Mayer shocked Deadheads and classic rock aficionados ’round the world when they announced their Las Vegas Sphere ‘Dead Forever’ residency.Once the Rock Hall of Famers wrapped their first run at the groundbreaking, immersive venue, they announced a second set of 2025 shows, the first of which took place on Thursday, March 20.“[They mixed] the greatest hits from last year’s setlists and visuals with a healthy dose of fresh material,” Billboard reported from the inaugural gig.According to the publication “last year’s May 16 opening night included far more static shots of the band on giant video screens; this time around, every moment on the 240-foot-tall curved display served an aesthetic purpose beyond what any other concert venue can even attempt to provide.”As for the music, the always-unpredictable jam band delivered 18 songs, based on our findings at Set List FM. Notable tracks that made the cut include fan favorites like “Scarlet Begonias,” “Fire on the Mountain” and “Touch of Grey” as well as surprising covers like Bob Dylan‘s “Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door” and The Spencer Davis Group‘s “Gimme Some Lovin’.”“I have a feeling that it’s music that’s going to bring this country together,” Weir, 77, told Rolling Stone.

New York shows and three in New Jersey.New Yorkers hoping to see the “Ants Marching” group live can catch them at Bethel’s Bethel Woods Center For the Arts on Saturday, May 24, Syracuse’s Empower Federal Credit Union Amphitheater on Tuesday, May 27, Long Island’s Jones Beach Theater on on Wednesday, June 11 and Saratoga Springs’ Broadview Stage on July 18-19.Their Garden State gigs are scheduled to go down at Holmdel’s PNC Bank Arts Center on Tuesday, June 3 and Camden’s Freedom Mortgage Pavilion on July 25-26.To kick off the sprawling run, they’ll play the New Orleans Jazz Festival, Charlotte’s Lovin Life Music Fest and Boston Calling.Fans can purchase tickets for all upcoming Dave Matthews Band shows and festival dates on sites like Vivid Seats; the official on-sale for the Summer 2025 tour is Friday, Feb.

Phish just announced they’re heading to Seattle, Portland, San Francisco and Los Angeles for a brief eight-concert tour this April.The Portland show will be the band’s first in the city in 25 years, according to their Instagram. They’ll also donate $300,000 “to support relief and rebuilding efforts for communities affected by the devastating Southern California wildfires through the band’s non-profit The WaterWheel Foundation.”As of now, Phish doesn’t have any other dates announced for this year but that tracks with the group’s history.

In a rave review, NYS Music wrote, “Trey, so alone and vulnerable (if that’s possible in the face of his adoring phans) has found his stories becoming the best part of these shows.”Prior to the solo run, Phish will close the year with four shows at New York City’s Madison Square Garden.
