Coronation Street's finest Andy Whyment, Claire Sweeney, Peter Ash, Daniel Brocklebank, Sally Carman and Joe Duttine boarded a train from Manchester down to London together this morning, in anticipation of the glitzy NTA's. Shorts and T-shirts were the order of the day in the smiling group shot uploaded to Kirk Sutherland star Andy's Instagram account, with several of his pals resharing the same image on their respective Stories.

NTA host Joel Dommett has addressed rumours that his wife Hannah has given birth. Joel is set to host the NTA’s tomorrow night – and his wife Hannah is about to welcome their first child. He will return for the third year as host of the National Television Awards, which will be broadcast live tomorrow, Tuesday September 5, from 8pm on ITV1.

The full list of nominations for this year's National Television Awards (NTAs) have been announced - with ITV's flagship daytime TV programme, This Morning, up for the Daytime award - despite the scandal that has surrounded it this year.
