The Kooks have added a handful of extra dates to their forthcoming ‘Inside In/Inside Out’ 15th anniversary tour.The band have added shows in Dublin, Birmingham, Glasgow and Manchester to the jaunt which kicks off at Dublin Olympia Theatre on January 27, 2022.They will now play an extra show at the venue on January 28, plus new dates at the O2 Academy Birmingham on February 4, O2 Academy Glasgow on February 8 and the O2 Victoria Warehouse in Manchester on February 11.

Billy Nomates and Porridge Radio are among a raft of acts announced for the 2021 Visions Festival.The one day London new bands event, which will be held on Saturday, August 7 at The Oval in Hackney, will also see Manchester newcomers Porij, post-punk Leeds quartet Yard Act, Folly Group, Famous, Kai Kwasi, Wu-Lu, caroline, NiNE8 Collective, Flohio, Gaika, Falle Nioke, DJ and producer Grove, Martha Skye Murphy and Keyah/Blu all performing.Further acts will be announced in the coming weeks and tickets are available here.This will be the eighth time the bash has been held, which has in the past seen the likes of IDLES, Young Fathers, Fat White Family and Shame perform.

Ladyhawke has announced her new album ‘Time Flies’ and shared her latest single ‘Mixed Emotions’ – you can hear the track below.The follow-up to 2016’s ‘Wild Things’ will be released on October 8 via BMG.Ladyhawke has previewed the forthcoming new record today (May 27) with the track ‘Mixed Emotions’, which was co-written with Jono Sloan and Empire of The Sun‘s Nick Littlemore in LA.“Sloan had come up with a really cool bass groove which Nick and I riffed over to get the lyrics and melody,” Ladyhawke explained about ‘Mixed Emotions’, which you can hear in the below Britt Walton-directed video.“The song is about all the things you can feel with one person, sometimes all in a single day,” she added.

Viola Beach‘s debut album is set to be released on vinyl for the first time to mark the record’s fifth anniversary.The self-titled album was originally released in July 2016, five months on from the tragic car accident in Sweden which claimed the lives of all four members of the band (singer/guitarist Kris Leonard, guitarist River Reeves, bassist Tomas Lowe and drummer Jack Dakin) and their manager Craig Tarry.‘Viola Beach’ is now set to be released on vinyl for the first time, with the record – which will be pressed on a rainbow-coloured picture disc – set to arrive on October 22 via Fuller Bean Records, the label set up by the band and their manager.The families of the Viola Beach members and Tarry have welcomed the release.

Dry Cleaning have unveiled their full list of tour dates across the United States, United Kingdom and Europe supporting their latest album ‘New Long Leg’.Prior to the album’s release in April via 4AD, the band announced 2022 dates for the UK and Ireland. Now the London group have revealed that the tour has expanded to include shows in the US and Europe.The tour will now kick off in November 2021 at Los Angeles venue Teregram, continuing through the month in select US cities.
