Wolf Alice have announced a short tour of intimate UK dates in support of the Revive Live campaign.The initiative, which aims to get audiences back into grassroots venues, has already seen the likes of The Vaccines, Rag’n’Bone Man, Miles Kane, Sam Fender and more announce or play shows.Wolf Alice will now join them as part of the campaign, with four shows just announced for late September.“As part of the Revive Live campaign we’ve teamed up with the legends at the @musicvenuetrust to put on these small intimate shows,” the band announced on Instagram.

Pixies have cancelled their upcoming US tour, citing a “surge” in COVID-19 cases as the reason for the dates being scrapped.The band were due to hit the road in September for an 11-show run of gigs including two stops with Nine Inch Nails.Earlier today (August 23) the band tweeted that the tour will no longer go ahead.

Happy Mondays frontman Shaun Ryder has opened up about his upcoming collaboration with Noel Gallagher.The high-profile collaboration was first revealed to NME by Ryder’s Happy Mondays bandmate Bez back in April, with the percussionist/dancer predicting that the song is “going to be big and going to be number one” and adding: “It’s two Manchester legends singing together and it sounds amazing.”Speaking to Bang Showbiz (via Contact Music), Ryder said the collaboration “sounds good” and is “different to what Noel’s done in the main”.He added: “It’s different to what [Noel’s] just been doing on his album.”He went on to compare the song to the sound of Black Grape, the ’90s group Ryder was a part of with other members of The Happy Mondays and

DMA’S have surprise-released a new EP titled ‘I Love You Unconditionally, Sure Am Going To Miss You’, marking their first new original music since third album ‘THE GLOW’ arrived last year.The four-track EP was produced by the band themselves, and recorded with Dylan Adams, who also engineered the trio’s 2014 self-titled debut EP.
