The album – which follows 2020’s soul-baring ‘More. Again.

DMA’s guitarist Johnny Took and his brother, PLANET singer, Matthew Took have officially launched their side project BIIG Time with the new single ‘Bigger Than Nothing’, news of a debut album ‘200K’ and a 2025 UK tour.BIIG Time released their first single ‘It’s You’ back in 2020 but have been radio silent until now. Their debut album ‘200K’ is due on May 2, and you can pre-order it here.To launch the news, the band have shared the album’s high octane, shoegazey lead single ‘Bigger Than Nothing’, alongside a music video featuring home video footage of the brothers’ childhoods in Sydney, allowing fans to see a “life-long friendship that shines through their songs and harmonies,” per a press release.“‘Bigger Than Nothing’ is our first release since our first and only single ‘It’s You’ back in 2020! It’s quintessential BIIG TIME,” says the band.

DMA’s have announced plans for a UK tour, kicking off later this year. Check out a list of tour dates below.The upcoming UK dates will see the Sydney-based trio make 10 stops across the UK this December, including two back-to-back slots in the capital.Kicking off on December 5, the trio – comprised of Tommy O’Dell, Matt Mason and Johnny Took – will start the UK leg of the tour in Norwich with a show at the University of East Anglia, before making stops in Southampton, Nottingham and Liverpool.From there, a gig at the O2 Academy in Bristol will take place on December 11, followed by a run of dates in Cardiff, Glasgow and Manchester.The final dates of the 2023 winter tour will be held at HERE at Outernet in London, with two shows lined up for Sunday, December 17 and Monday, December 18.

Despite hailing from over 10,000 miles away in Sydney, Manchester has taken DMAs under its wing. The city has welcomed the indie rock outfit with open arms, and adopted them proudly as one of its own.

DMA’S have shared details of a UK tour booked to go down next April.The run will kick off in Cambridge on Wednesday April 5, with shows in Exeter and Bournemouth to follow in quick succession. They’ll round that week out with a gig in Aylesbury on Sunday April 9, before rolling on to Wolverhampton, Lincoln, Bradford, Middlesbrough and Dundee over the following week.From there, the Australian indie rockers will play in Aberdeen, Glasgow and Manchester, before wrapping up the tour in London on Friday April 21.

DMA’S have shared their new single ‘I Don’t Need To Hide’ and announced a trio of UK shows for October – you can listen to the track in the below video.After previewing its release last week, the Australian band have now returned with their first new material since 2021’s ‘I Love You Unconditionally, Sure Am Going To Miss You’ EP.Speaking about ‘I Don’t Need To Hide’, which was produced by Konstantin Kersting and Rich Costey, DMA’S guitarist Jonny Took explained: “There’s a confidence you obtain when you find someone who loves you for all your faults, quirks and obscurities.“They make you feel like you don’t need to hide anything from anyone anymore.”The video for DMA’S ‘I Don’t Need To Hide’, directed by Lucy Knox, has been released today (August 17) – you can watch it below.DMA’S have also announced three headline UK shows in October, with dates set in Manchester, London and Glasgow.Tickets for these gigs will go on general sale on Friday (August 19) at 10am from here. DMA’s are teasing the arrival of a new single called ‘I Don’t Need To Hide’.The band shared a short clip on Twitter with the song’s apparent title. DMA’S have linked up with fellow Sydney artist MAY-A (aka Maya Cumming) for a new version of their recent single ‘Junk Truck Head Fuck’.The new version is largely unchanged from the track DMA’S released in August, with Tommy O’Dell’s warm and homely vocals driving the acoustic ballad. Cumming pops up around the 1:20 mark, taking over from O’Dell on lead vocals for the second verse. DMA’S have surprise-released a new EP titled ‘I Love You Unconditionally, Sure Am Going To Miss You’, marking their first new original music since third album ‘THE GLOW’ arrived last year.The four-track EP was produced by the band themselves, and recorded with Dylan Adams, who also engineered the trio’s 2014 self-titled debut EP.

DMA’s will return to the UK to play a new “album release” show in October, it has been confirmed.The band are currently set to release their latest record ‘The Glow’ on July 10 after it was postponed from its original April release due to the coronavirus pandemic.Earlier today (June 13), Kingston-Upon-Thames’ Banquet Records announced they would host a gig with the Australian trio at local venue Pryzm on October 22.However, they added the caveat that the pandemic could force them to postpone the show. “Life is a game of changing,” they wrote on Twitter.
