Self Esteem, has digitally released the soundtrack to West End production Prima Facie.Directed by Justin Martin and starring Killing Eve actress Jodie Comer, Prima Facie is a one-person play that follows Comer as criminal defence barrister Tessa Ensler.Taylor was announced as the composer of the music for the play earlier this year, writing on Twitter: “The coolest thing I’ve ever done is no longer a secret!!!! I’m composing the music for this astonishing play starring the MVP and an unreal creative team!!!”The soundtrack features heavily as a strong force across the play’s narrative, adding to the overall tension. It is available digitally now and will be released on red vinyl on December 2. Jockstrap have announced their debut album ‘I Love You Jennifer B’ and shared its lead single ‘Glasgow’ – scroll down the page to watch the video now.The London-based duo – comprised of Georgia Ellery and Taylor Skye – formed in 2017 and have so far released four EPs and a handful of singles.‘I Love You Jennifer B’ will be released on September 9 via Rough Trade Records and is a “collection of Jockstrap tracks that have been three years in the making”, according to the band. “Everything on it is pretty singular sounding so we hope there is a track on there for everyone and something that speaks to you and says ‘I’m a banger’,” they added.“I’m not coming to Glasgow,” Ellery sings on the pair’s new song.

Foals will head out on a tour of North America in support of their new album ‘Life Is Yours’ in October, the band have announced.The jaunt will mark the first time the Oxford band have played live in the US and Canada since taking their ‘Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost’ tour there in 2019.The band will kick off the new tour at Brooklyn Bowl in Las Vegas, Nevada on October 28, with the run continuing throughout November and December. It will conclude at the State Theatre in Portland, ME on December 18.“We can’t wait to play again for you,” Foals wrote on Twitter.

Sports Team have announced their ‘Friendship tour’ dates in support of their forthcoming second album ‘Gulp‘.The indie rockers have an 11-date run scheduled across the UK and Ireland between October 11 and 25, 2022. Ahead of that, they play 17 shows in the US from mid September until early October, with dates kicking off in Atlanta on September 16.In the UK the band will play shows in Leeds Glasgow, Birmingham, Manchester, Nottingham, Southampton, Bristol, Norwich, London, Belfast and Dublin.

The Smile have announced their first-ever tour of North America for November and December 2022, in support of their debut album ‘A Light For Attracting Attention’.The band, which features Radiohead‘s Thom Yorke and Johnny Greenwood, will begin their debut tour across the continent in Providence, Rhode Island. The tour will then take them across the US and Canada, including two New York dates at Brooklyn’s Kings Theatre and the city’s Hammerstein Ballroom.A pre-sale for the tour will begin this Thursday (June 16) from 10am local time, with the general sale following the next day at the same local time.

Morrissey has shared full details of dates and venues for his forthcoming UK tour.Last week, the former Smiths star announced nine forthcoming shows in Blackpool, Doncaster, Glasgow, Stockton, Manchester, Birmingham, London and Brighton along with his previously announced concert in Ireland.Now, he has given a further update on the tour on his Instagram page. The jaunt will see Morrissey kick off the tour at the Gleneagles INEC Arena in Killarney on September 24 before wrapping up at Brighton Centre on October 14.The tour will also include two London dates at the capital’s Coliseum and the O2 Academy Brixton on October 9 and 11.

Pete Doherty has spoken about plans for The Libertines to record a new album in Jamaica.In a new interview with The Guardian, Doherty confirmed that he is on good terms with bandmate Carl Barât and that they are planning on working on the follow up to their 2015 LP ‘Anthems For Doomed Youth‘ overseas.He said: “We still feel there’s unfinished business and there are more songs to write. Kasabian frontman Tom Meighan has announced his first festival date since his sacking from the band last year.Last summer, the Leicester band announced they had ordered Meighan to leave the group after it emerged that he had assaulted his partner, Vikki Ager.Meighan pleaded guilty and was required to undertake 200 hours of unpaid work. The singer has since married Ager and relocated to Cornwall.In an interview with Cornwall Live last December, Ager and Meighan described the incident as a “one-off” and a “drunken squabble” and the singer apologised once more.“We had too much to drink,” said Meighan. “I regret everything that happened that night – what I can remember of it.

Wunderhorse has announced details of his debut album ‘Cub’ and a headline show in London.The band – the project of former Dead Pretties frontman Jacob Slater – emerged last year with debut single ‘Teal’ and have shared a handful of singles since.On September 16, ‘Cub’ will land via Communion and feature ‘Teal’ among other recent singles including ’17’, ‘Butterflies’ and ‘Poppy’.“I was tired of having to get up on stage and pretend I wanted to throw myself around and smash things up every night and sing these intense songs,” Slater said in a statement about his transition from Dead Pretties to Wunderhorse.“They were good songs, but I didn’t think we’d be able to transition into doing the more introspective music that I wanted to make. I thought it would just alienate people.”He added: “I stopped taking drugs and I stopped the band. The two things seemed to go hand in hand.
