Sunday Brunch presenter and restauranteur Simon Rimmer has slammed the government over its advice amid the coronavirus outbreak.
Boris Johnson advised the public yesterday to avoid restaurants, bars and club to stop the coronavirus spread in the UK. However, the Prime Minister didn't enforce the measures - leaving many saying they won't be able to claim on their insurance.
Taking to his Twitter account, Rimmer, 56, hit out at the measures, saying his business was at risk. Witnessed by his 266,000 followers, he wrote: "After a day when our government tells us to avoid going to bars n restaurants - takings in my 13 sites were down by 66% last night. "We have no insurance claims to protect us as it’s not an enforced closure.
