Viewers of 22 Kids and Counting were left disappointed after the show was absent from its usual slot on Sunday evening.The popular show follows the Radford family, who are thought to be the UK's biggest family with parents Sue and Noel being mum and dad to a whopping 22 children.The new series has been airing on a Sunday night over recent weeks, but on 11 February, fans were left fearing for the show's future after there was no new episode.
Sue, 48, has now responded to fan's concern on Instagram, where she wrote: "Just wanted to pop this on as we've been inundated with messages asking why 22 Kids and Counting isn't on tonight. "Don't worry - we are still very busy filming more episodes that will be shown very soon.
Also just wanted to say a massive thank you for all the continued support we will be back on your screens soon." Channel 5 have also responded to fans asking why the show has gone off air.Their statement reads: "The show has reached the end of its current run." And Lime Pictures, who produce the popular show, have also reassured viewers, explaining: "The Radfords are having a mid-series break and will be back later this year." The first episode of the Radfords' hit show aired back in 2021.The first series had only four episodes, but seasons two and three both had ten episodes each.The fourth series had aired six episodes before going on break.
The Radfords recently sparked controversy, when Sue was slammed on social media for "rubbing people's noses" in her lavish holidays – however she hit back at the troll.
