A university student was only one daay away from losing her eyesight after suffering from severe headaches. Opticians discovered that Lauren Jenkins, 20, had intense build-up of pressure inside her head.

The student was quickly diagnosed with intracranial hypertension, a build-up of pressure around the brain which required emergency surgery.
