Strictly's Alijaz Skorjanec denies backstage fallout claims as he quits BBC show

Strictly Come Dancing's Alijaž Škorganec has broken his silence after being accused of making crew feel "really upset" with his behaviour before quit the BBV show.The 32-year-old dancer has been part of the star-studded series for nine years, and is married to Janette Manrara, who is a former Strictly pro and currently presents spin-off show It Takes Two.He said it was a "tough" decision to leave the show, in a statement on Monday.However, a source told The Sun that members of the show were upset by "incidents" that occurred with the dancer in the last series.The source revealed: "He verbally lashed out at various staff members behind the scenes in what some thought was an unnecessarily aggressive manner.“Aljaž, was seen by some as arrogant and pompous too – and it left a bad taste in some of the staff's mouths. "Not many people will miss him."A representative for the star has since issued a statement about the allegations.It said: "Aljaž has the utmost respect for everyone working on the show and it is untrue to say he was forced out or acted in an aggressive manner at any time.“It was Aljaž 's decision to leave the show after an incredible 9 years.” The Executive Producer of Strictly Come Dancing, Sarah James said: 'We are so sad to be saying goodbye to Aljaž after almost a decade as a professional dancer on Strictly Come Dancing.
