STEPH McGovern has insisted her Packed Lunch show will not be axed despite recording zero viewers. The journalist, 38, confirmed her new daytime show on Channel 4 will not be closing after a fan questioned whether or not it will be closing.

Steph returned to screens in September with her new show following a successful stint presenting The Steph Show on Channel 4.

Reports the show was to close came after Barb viewing figures revealed that at 12.56pm on one September day not a single viewer tuned in, according to The Mirror.

One fan keen to know the truth took to Twitter to ask Steph herself about the rumours, writing: “Is your show closing?", to which the TV presenter replied with a stern: "Nope".
