Bus drivers in Greater Manchester have called off the threat of strike action after accepting a new pay offer. More than 1,000 Stagecoach drivers across the region were due to take industrial action later this month.
But now members of the Unite trade union have 'overwhelmingly' accepted a new offer of a 3.7% pay increase and a £150 one-off payment.
Unite general secretary Sharon Graham said: "This is a tremendous victory by members of Unite, who by standing together have ensured they will receive a fair pay increase from Stagecoach."
