Stacey Dooley reportedly found herself in hot water with the BBC by taking on an ad campaign that resulted in her being let go from Glow Up.
It has emerged that the 34-year-old presenter was secretly removed from the show when ‘furious’ BBC bosses learned of her appearance in a Clairol advert last summer just as the second series of the beauty show concluded.
The campaign would have clashed with the broadcaster’s strict rules on its presenters advertising goods that suggest references to its content and was even more of an issue as Stacey was appearing on the beauty show at the time.
Stacey fronted the first two series of Glow Up and broke the news to fans that she was leaving in October tweeting: ‘ I won’t be able to be a part of Glow Up
