Stacey Dooley has continued promoting the haircare company which reportedly got her booted from her job hosting BBC make-up show Glow Up.

The 34-year-old presenter uploaded a new post promoting beauty brand Clairol just minutes after reports emerged that she was “secretly dropped” from the series.

According to The Sun, Stacey lost the job because BBC bosses felt one of her Clairol ads closely resembled the format of Glow Up - and rules state BBC talent should not appear in adverts which "mimic or replicate their on-air roles for the BBC".
