Southern California's Bond Fire exploded overnight Thursday, scorching 6,400 acres and injuring two firefighters. The fire started Wednesday after a Silverado Canyon home caught fire amidst gusty Santa Ana winds.The blaze then spread to nearby vegetation and up into the hills.
While the extent of the wildfire's destruction remains unclear, 25,000 people were forced to evacuate, according to KTLA. About 500 firefighters from more than 30 agencies have been called to fight one of the state's multiple fires, the Orange County Fire Authority Public Information Office reported.
