South Lanarkshire Council is marking Carers Week by celebrating the work of dedicated staff across the area.The annual event, which kicked off yesterday (June 6) and ends on June 12 aims to celebrate the valued contribution of carers to families and communities and highlights the challenges carers face.This year’s theme for Carers Week is ‘making caring visible, valued and supported.’The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
